Primary Care Overflow Service
From November 2024, Malvern Town PCN is launching the Primary Care Overflow (PCO)
service to enhance patient care across our practices. This collaborative service brings together local practices to increase GP appointment availability, ensuring that all patients in Malvern can access care when they need it most.
What This Means for You
With the PCO service, patients may have the opportunity to schedule same-day appointments at a different Malvern practice, helping to reduce wait times and allow you to be seen more quickly. Depending on your needs, you may also be offered a telephone consultation with a GP from another practice within Malvern Town PCN.
Our PCO service focuses on addressing routine health concerns through our dedicated PCO Hub, freeing up space at individual practices to focus on patients with complex or ongoing health needs within their own practice. This balance allows us to support everyone in our community in the best and most suitable way. We are proud to provide this additional capacity to better serve the residents of Malvern, ensuring timely and efficient access to primary care for all.
