Patient Notice
We have now gone live on our new appointment system. All GP appointment requests will require an online triage form to be completed. This can be done using the option below or if you are unable to complete this, please call the surgery who will complete it on your behalf.
How can we help you today?
Urgent Patient Notice
As our patients may be aware, our practice was impacted by the global IT outage on Friday 19th July 2024, which meant we were unable to access EMIS - the system we use to access all patient records. Please do however rest assured that this was only a systems failure, and that your data remains secure.
While EMIS came back online over the weekend, we naturally expect to see some delays to service and reduced capacity in our practice through the early part of this week as we catch up on missed appointments, delayed prescriptions, and other practice work that is reliant on access to patient records.
We apologise for any delays and issues caused as a result. Please rest assured our team are working hard to get caught up as quickly as possible - and if you’re able, please allow us capacity to do so by using online services for all non-urgent appointments wherever you’re able.
Remember, you can also visit your local pharmacy for help with a range of conditions, including earaches, insect bites, and UTIs. Find out more and see which pharmacy offers the service you need at the link below:

As always, we truly appreciate the support and kindness of our patient community – and thank you for bearing with us during this challenging few days.
NHS App
Owned and run by the NHS, the NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services online.
Using your NHS Account, you can do things like show proof of your Covid-19 vaccinations, view some test results, and manage other aspects of your health online. If you would like to manage your health online, please speak to any member of staff within Practice; the request will then be sent for approval by a GP.

We are an Armed Forces veteran friendly accredited GP practice.
This means that, as part of the health commitment of the Armed Forces Covenant, we have a dedicated clinician who has a specialist knowledge of military related health conditions and veteran specific health services. This is important in helping ex-forces to get the best care and treatment.
If you are ex-forces, please let us know when you register with us.
NHS Symptom Checker
Sometimes it’s better to seek medical help, especially if your problems are persistent or are getting worse - but it’s always good to know what to do and where to go to try and manage your health without contacting your GP practice.

Covid-19 Vaccination Status
Learn how to best protect yourself and others around you, by following our advice on living with Covid-19. This advice is based off the UK Government’s advice, found by clicking the button below.
Face coverings are no longer mandatory in GP practices and other clinical settings, though we do recommend you consider wearing one in crowded places or indoors to protect you from catching or spreading Covid-19.
Getting vaccinated is the best form of protection - whether you’re getting your boosters, or have just recently decided to get a Covid vaccine, you’re helping to protect yourself and other people around you. To find out how to get your next vaccine, click the button below.
You also no longer need to show your NHS Covid Pass when attending most venues, though some will require it on a discretionary basis—and patients are no longer required to work from home.
